Well, where do I start?

For starters I guess I should apologize to everyone here who is still following me. I seriously neglected my story and absolutely threw it on the back burner for the better part of a year. Actually, more than a year since the last time I wrote a journal entry was over a year ago. I went back to it from time to time, but it just seemed to fall by the wayside when it came to things like my real life. I don't want to get everyone's hopes up and say that I'm working on it again. I've always been working on it. I've just never been satisfied with it. Of course, with the introduction of ME3 (and it's...ways), I have a little bit more spark to work with.

That and I achieved a goal of starting my career. It wasn't what I wanted as a kid, but as an adult it's what I want now. Because I turned my focus towards nothing but school, I got my state license as an EMT and even landed a job at an ambulance service. So, go me! Between that and working at my soon-to-be-old job, I've been mentally drained to do anything other than sleep or play mindless video games. I don't want to just throw something that's forced out at you guys, but at the same time, I've held this story up for over a year now. I need to get it done. I need to close this chapter. It's bugging me that I haven't finished it, and it's bugging me that I've let a lot of you down.

I'm not going to promise a date, but I promise that I will work on it. I really.....REALLY...need to close this up.
